Robert Thomas Velline, famously knows as Bobby Vee, announced this week that he has been living with Alzheimer's since last year. The teen pop idol from the midwest, became famous after Vee and his friends' band filled in at a Minnesota(stomping ground of MindStart)concert left in the lurch after the plane crash deaths of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and JP "Big Bopper" Richardson. Vee had many Top 10 hits throughout his career and was a pioneer in the music video scene. Vee says he is now focusing on activities that are most important him, his family and music.
